Creating Dynamic Content with Quarto

Activities

• Monday:
  • Instructor-led deep-dive on dynamic documentation with Quarto
• Tuesday:
  • DEPC2 presentation completed through the use of Quarto, RevealJS, Markdown, Git, GitHub, and the GitHub Flow model
  • Presentation available, in final form, as a pull request in the GitHub repository for the course web site, no later than 11:59 PM
  • Each DEPC2 team member must use Git and their own GitHub account to commit their work to the pull request for their team’s slides
• Wednesday:
  • Team-based delivery of DEPC2 presentation
• Wednesday Laboratory:
  • Continue working on first document engineering tool-building project
  • Students meet with the student technical leaders
  • Students give in-person demonstration to course instructor
• Friday:
  • Randomly selected second-half of class completes document engineering knowledge-check one as an in-person assessment
